Blue Light Screen Saver For Windows 95 --------------------------------------- //*******************************************************************// NOTE : Be sure to use WinZip, or another Windows 95 unzip program to unzip BlueLite.zip. If you have used PKUNZIP, or another program that doesn't support long file names, then the files name you have may be shorter than "Blue Light.scr" and "Blue Light.mid". If this happened, please use Windows Explorer, and rename the unzipped files to "Blue Light.scr" and "Blue Light.mid" before continuing. //*******************************************************************// For all former, present and future Colbians, I present the Blue Light Screen Saver! Copy the files "Blue Light.scr" and "Blue Light.mid" to your 'Windows\System' directory (the "System" directory under whatever directory Windows 95 is installed in). Then "Blue Light" should appear in the "Display Properties" dialog (right-click on the desktop, choose "Properties"), under the "Screen Saver" tab. It should be ready to play as soon as it is installed, but you can change various parameters by choosing the "Settings" button, and check out the results with the "Preview" button. Password protection is not currently enabled, but let me know if that would be useful and I may include it in the next version. Hopefully, you have a Sound Card on your PC, because sound is an important part of Blue Light. You can even choose a different MIDI file than Blue Light.mid by using the "MIDI File..." button on the Configuration (Settings) dialog. A future version could also allow you to choose a different bitmap to display...let me know if you feel that feature would be useful to you. That's enough for now. Enjoy Blue Light, and feel free to Email me at any of the below addresses (or use the link on the Colby Blue Light Web Site (White Pages), and let me know your thoughts, good and bad, and any ideas you have about other features you would like added (or removed). - Jim Signorile James V.
